I locked myself out of my apt yesterday. Such a treat for me. I walked out the back door, locking it from the inside (turning the little lock) then stepped out, shut the door and INSTANTLY realized I hadn't grabbed my keys...or my phone. I tried to credit card my way in but to no avail.
Luckily I had been planning on going to target on my way to work so I had stepped out early, which gave me enough time to take the train in and only be 10 minutes late. And luckily I had my wallet so I could get cash to ride the train.

But overall, SO ANNOYING! It's such a sickening feeling when it hits you, and like most people I kept rechecking my pockets, rechecking my purse, rechecking my jacket...my keys just HAD to be somewhere besides locked inside my apartment.....Nope.

That was my day.

Oh, and my callback went great. Fabulous actually, which of course means nothing, but at least I can feel good about it if I don't get the role. But one of these days I'm gonna get into a shoe, or a show...a show would be good, too. (A shoe does sound kind of fun, though. I love typos.)

Okay, time to get my head out of the clouds and on with my day.

-listening to The Blower's Daughter by Damien Rice which is now the preview music for the movie Closer, which I must see this weekend since I will have a lot of free time to my little old self.
