On the job front...and other fronts

I got the job at the nursery! So get ready you glue-eating, snotty-nosed, 2-year-olds! Miss Katy's in da house!

I am very, very happy because I have been very, very broke.

I also did a focus group today, the topic being Blistex lip care. I sat around with six women and we talked for 2 hours about what we thought of the upcoming Blistex advertisements. A bit boring, but there were sandwiches and cookies and after it was all said and done, I happily left with a Ben Franklin in my purse. So, no complaints from this peanut gallery. Except maybe for the girl who sat across from me that had her small breasts quite exposed during the whole session. What was funny, was that I don't think she was aware at all...her shirt covered enough, but anytime she leaned forward or wasn't sitting straight (which was MOST of the time) the gals on my side of the table had quite a little show! It kept things interesting, I guess.

And now I am off to help my dear pal, Wendy, move some stuff.
