man oh man oh man...my throat is killing me right now. I woke up unable to swallow, always a good sign, and have already taken 2 day's worth of cough drops. I DON'T WANT TO GET SICK!
Two of the teachers at school have been sick and some of the kids have been coughing maniacs. I'd love to call in sick to work but can't..maybe I'll just call in sick to life. Wouldn't that be fun? I'd ring this special bell and all of a sudden get beamed to an island in Hawaii. A small man would appear to welcome me and come around offering me pina coladas every few hours. And I could just relax on my own private beach for the day...collecting sea shells, taking in the sun...
I think I'm onto something here.

Amazing idea... and, as fate (dancing with luck) would have it: I'll be living in Hawaii "no later than" May 17, 2005. I'll ride the long flight from Japan, take a couple months of school in Texas, then off to the beaches of paradise looking for those sea shells you mentioned! There's a world full of things to discover, ktb, I hope you get to see some of it along the way.
Excuse me while I break into an Aladdin song now - "I could show you the world..." (My neighbors are now terrified!)
