Muse-a-liscious!
Well, once again, Muse rocked the house! Brad, Nickie and Cory left me in "the pit" by myself. I refused to leave since I had been standing there-in my prime, 15 ft. away from the stage, spot-for over an hour. It was amazing! Granted, I almost got killed and spent 90% of my time just trying to keep my balance against the wild crowd, but it was worth it. So worth it. They all couldn't believe I lasted at all with the crazy moshing people, but I sure did! So, who's your daddy?!
In otha' news, I got a call Saturday from a director I had auditioned for about 4 months ago. He's putting on his next show and wants me to come to callbacks which are in 2 weeks! Very fancy! I was quite happy and quite flattered that he remembered me from so long ago. And I get to skip the whole dreaded monologue audition! So nice. And its a great show! The Balcony by Jean Genet.
That's been my life lately. That and a kid at school called me a big fat ass today. So lovely. I was putting him to bed and he kept getting up so I nicely but sternly told him he needed to stay on his bed to which he replied, No, you big fat ass. He kind of mumbled it, but nothing gets by these ears. Boy, I wanted to take him outside and give him a whippin', but unfortunately we are not allowed. Ah, kids...They're just so.......funny.
