Oh, Sweet Cotton Candy!

I forgot how much I love cotton candy! What a treat! It was like being at the circus again! (Typical girl behavior to attend a sporting event and mention the food first.) The game was awesome though. The Cubbies put the Cardinals to shame and made my first time at Wrigley Field quite memorable. Cory's boss, Jace, was kind enough to invite us along with his girlfriend, Liz, and it was the perfect way to celebrate Cory's birthday. And I found out this morning that we were on TV! Not too shabby for my first game.

I of course had a hot dog, and some peanuts, and lots of beer. (Did I mention I also had some nachos? Yeah...I'm sure I put on a few pounds in honor of the Cubs.) The cotton candy man was playing hard to get though, and finally Liz had to go chase him down to get the goods.

We left the game right before it ended to avoid the mass crowds, and headed over to the Hop Leaf to continue the celebration.

So the night was a success, even though it was a million degrees outside-
