Overheard

I was at a school yesterday waiting for the van to arrive to pick up myself and two kids, and about 10 feet away from us was a teacher holding a 6 month old baby. Talking to the teacher (and cooing at the baby) was a parent and her (about) 7-year-old daughter. The teacher finally turned the baby to face the girl, which made the girl smile really big, which in turn made the baby smile even bigger. The teacher then said (in a baby voice), "Ohhh, look! She must really like you! I bet she saw your smile and thought, I can't wait to have those teeth!" The girl's smile IMMEDIATELY left her face and with her eyes slightly popping out of her head, she replied, "Um...She's not the tooth fairy, so, uh, she can't have my teeth."

That girl looked HORRIFIED! Like the baby was actually about to crawl over and start steeling her teeth!
